The Lord is doing amazing work

The King of Kings and Lord of Lords continues to daze and amaze us as we see Him work in some of the most difficult areas in the 10/40 window of West Africa.

Since I am a bottom line kind of guy, I will just say that our associates have been able to reach, by the grace of God, 9,652 Muslims for Jesus this year alone.

Those numbers come from some very diverse areas — from the extreme north of Cameroon, to the southern border of Niger, to the Manga area of Northern Togo, to the NW part of Burkina Faso, to the SW part of Burkina Faso and the NE region of the Ivory Coast (Cote D’Ivoire).

There, of course, are many villages that have not been reached, but these numbers for the most part are taken from the least reached villages in the areas mentioned. Our men have the vision to go to the worst first and to take back the land and the people of the land for the glory and praise of Jesus, as they are set free to worship the one, true God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The enemy is losing

The enemy of Christ is paying dearly for some losses the body of Christ has sustained of late.

We lost the daughter of a great missionary in Manila recently to fire. We will keep the name of the individual confidential so their family can continue to reach out in peace. We also lost a brother in arms in the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou, to a terrorist attack while he was drinking coffee.

The attempts of Satan to dissuade us from our target goals are fruitless. We will go forward with the love of God and the grace of the Lord Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

I recall one elder who argued with me about the relevance of “Christianity.” (To me that is a religion, I follow Christ). He was a Muslim in a particular village. When he saw the chief’s brother healed of hearing loss, confusion and pain in his leg, he had the revelation that “Islam cannot do this.” He quickly followed Christ and had us pray for his wife that evening.

And so it is everywhere we/He goes.

The validation of the reality and life and power of Jesus Christ follows with us to touch the Lost But Not Forgotten.

Northern Cameroon mission trip

We will leave next week to visit an area of northern Cameroon and to touch an unreached people group in six villages in that area.

I am reluctant to mention who they are for we do not care to have to address reprisals directed against the Lord through our families and associates.

However, the only risk to us is the risk of not completing the work of God in us and through us that He has given us to do.

As Jesus said, “The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father abiding in me does His works.”

Do your work Lord Jesus and set the captives free. Preaching, teaching and living out the grace of God in West Africa. Going to the unknown, to make Him known.
