August 2020 Blog for LBNF

We cannot witness the mighty works of God and then shrink back to destruction. As you read my letters and newsletters you are privy to some of the great moves of God and like us, give Him the glory for His goodness and mercy which He is demonstrating in these last days. We must stand up and be men and women of God not neglecting the gift(s) within us.

I am truly blown away by the constant reports of miraculous works of the Holy Spirit that I am receiving from Alemon (not his real name), and from our associate evangelists. A list which is growing monthly. We now have 60 associates across West Africa. Three men recently came from a tragedy which occurred as Isaac was preaching in Guinea at a marketplace. The three men beat him, robbed him and he was left for dead. In a coma a couple of days he finally awoke after we prayed for him. Then my attention turned to the attackers. The HS told me three men would come out of this, working for Him. Two were in jail and agreed to go to the hospital to talk to Isaac if we bailed them out. They did, were in tears, and received Jesus. I asked the Lord about the third. He said to wait. Sure enough, another was jailed, and his name is Saad. We did not have the money to help him initially and Isaac now released, showed up at the jail with his brother and the other two attackers. The four led him to Christ. Then Alemon received some money after successfully praying for a paralytic. They would not let him say no to the money. We then began to see LBNF back in the positive and so we bailed him out as well. Three former muggers, now evangelists. Isaac has joined Saad as the latter has preached in his village and others. The attacker and victim now working together for the King.

Isaac said that Saad got off to a shaky start and lacked courage to pray for the sick. After the first outreach in which Isaac preached, Isaac prayed for him. Then in village three they saw a young baby with a malformed foot healed after prayer and Saad began to preach powerfully. In village five they were approached by two friends, Sohail and Kamron, who were part of a gang of five robbers. They had a history of killing many during robberies. They heard the gospel and repented in tears. I have instructed them to lead the other three to Christ and become an evangelistic team. Pray this happens. For their part they are requesting a megaphone and NT’s. First, I must replace ½ cost of a new motorbike for Isaac. Bilal and Sana the other two former attackers of Isaac went with one another to do street evangelism in their villages. They won 56 to Christ on four encounters and now request NT’s and a megaphone. When the funds come, they will be the first to receive a megaphone to use between the two of them.

Reza and Rohaan had a good outreach to the Tetserret in Abalak, Niger. It was complicated by a junior team member stabbing a potential attacker of their team. I refused to bail him out, but the men took the remaining part of the mission money and did so anyway. After they returned to Burkina the HS began to prod me about the victim. He prompted me to send the team back including our aggressive defender and have him reconcile with the victim and bless him. Once we lead him to Christ, he would join the team. I also want two men whom the Lord delivered of a demon to join them as well. Pray this happens. We appreciate you so much.

Going with you to the unknown, to make Him known,

Jedidiah
